THE CORVETTEPHOENIX, AZ (March 3, 2010) While the countries economic challenges continue, it has shown that even the racing community will not be spared. However, one Driver is spending all that he has, proving that talent still has value, Victor Pfluger is showing Team and Business Owners that his talent can help teams get exposure at the front of the field, and on the podium.

By creating opportunities to race for other team owners, Pfluger has been able to secure (at least) one ride for 2010. “I am showing teams that although my ability to financially support my racing is not there right now, my ability to win on the track is stronger than ever. I can put there car in the limelight, and on the podium.” Says Pfluger. “I want to showcase my ability to win, which can be a payoff to Team Owners in the form of winnings.”

Normally, Pfluger races within the ASA Late Model and Truck Series. Sitting out most of 2009 and the start of 2010, Pfluger now finds himself in a Corvette in the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Arizona Region. “I was able to show one Team Owner (who will remain nameless) that if I win, his Team will receive exposure. We negotiated a deal where I simply need to supply tires for each race weekend. While I still need financial help to do this, it is much easier to find Sponsorship to buy tires.”

Victor began racing at Phoenix Kart Racing Association in 2002. Since the, he has proven success in all race series that he has participated in; all at only 19 years of age. In 2008 Pfluger had eight race starts. During the season he finished with an impressive three WINS – one against 4 Time Champion in the Camping World Truck Champion, Ron Hornaday. TWO 3rd place finishes, TWO 4th place finishes and ONE 9th place finish

Pfluger will begin his 2010 season at the 1.51 mile road course at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) on Saturday and Sunday March 6th & 7th, during the NASA Season Opener.. “My goal is to win races in the NASA Series, so I can find an individual or corporate sponsor to support my ASA Season and/or stepping up to Grand-Am.
